Process is the pitch

Calgary, AB

Film & content studio

Process · BTS · Stills

Short films for businesses whose craft is worth watching — detail bays, kitchens, storefronts. Then we put the footage to work: the ads, the print, and the site it all lands on.

00:00:24:06

Who it’s for

05 sectors

Businesses where the work itself is the sell — where somebody who watched it happen is already half sold. If the job looks good being done, there is a film in it.

01

Detail & auto

Correction, coating, interiors, RV and marine. The panel coming back is the whole pitch.

02

Kitchens & food

Prep, the pass, the plate going out. Heat and hands read better on video than on a menu.

03

Storefront & retail

The room, the shelves, the people in it. What a customer walks into, before they walk in.

04

Trades & shop floor

Fabrication, install, repair. Skill nobody sees, filmed the one time it is happening.

05

On-site jobs

Work that happens at the customer’s place, in a driveway or a lot. We come to it.

Where it ends up

Instagram Reels and carousels, framed 9:16 on the shoot — organic, and the same footage behind Meta ads.
TikTok Native vertical cut to read as content first and an ad second, paid or not.
Facebook The same day’s footage recut per placement instead of one master squeezed into all of them.

Paint correction, ceramic coating and full RV work. The detailing is the product, so the camera stays on the process — the tape lines, the pad breaking down, the panel coming back. Two vertical films cut for social, plus a stills set for listings.

Same headlight.
Same lens.

A Lexus GS460 headlight, hazed opaque from years of sun, cut back and refinished. Both frames are ours — same lens, same angle, same light. The only thing that changed is the work in between.

This is the frame that sells a detail job, and it is the one most businesses never get taken. It only exists if someone is standing there with a camera before the work starts.

What we do

09 services

Three lanes, nine things, and none of it is bundled. Plenty of people take the film and nothing else; plenty take the ads and the print because they already have footage sitting unused. Take the parts you need — there is a picker further down that turns whatever you choose into a brief.

FilmShot, cut, graded
01

Process films

The core of it. One job, start to finish, cut so the craft reads at a glance.

02

Behind the scenes

Longer-form documentary cuts, chaptered around the real stages of the work.

03

Vertical cutdowns

9:16 masters built for Reels and TikTok — framed vertical on the shoot, not cropped after.

04

Beat-synced edits

Every cut mapped to a track first, so the edit carries momentum instead of fighting it.

05

Stills & grading

RAW capture graded to match the film, ready for listings, ads and profiles.

DesignWhere it all lands
06

Websites

Built around the footage rather than bolted on after it — fast, and it works on a phone.

07

Flyers & print

Menus, postcards, door hangers, signage. Print-ready files, sized to spec.

Paid socialPut money behind it
08

Instagram & Facebook ads

Meta campaigns built from your own footage, with the creative cut to fit each placement.

09

TikTok ads

Native-feeling vertical spots that read as content first and an ad second.

A week of posts

06 carousels

The films are the headline; this is the part that runs every week. Six carousels shot, cut, captioned and handed over ready to upload — each slide carries its own caption and its own hashtags, none repeated, one geo tag each. Open a card to read what actually shipped with it.

An RV parked and freshly detailed before winter storage

Storage prep

A seasonal angle rather than a job: book the exterior before the unit gets parked for the winter. Written five ways so one could be picked at upload.

What’s sitting on your RV right now is still going to be there in May. Late August is the window — a full exterior before it goes away for the winter. Whatever’s on the gelcoat when you park it bonds over five cold months. By spring it isn’t a wash any more, it’s a correction.

Camper and the dually under it, same afternoon. Two dirty wides up front, then the proof frames — the hood, the truck, the rig.

Someone wrote BOOK NOW in the dirt on this roof. Fair enough. RV detailing in Calgary — this Bigfoot came in with a roof you could write on, and the truck under it wasn’t much better.

Same tube. Left is where it started. Boat detailing in Calgary — this Sun Chaser came in chalked and streaked right down the waterline. Acid wash, then polish.

The set the slider above is cut from. Masked, sanded, polished and sealed — shot from the same mark at every stage so the frames line up.

Tripod stays put between the before, the process and the after. Move the camera and the comparison stops being evidence — it just becomes two nice photographs of a headlight.

Their reviews,
made postable

Twelve of Xpress Auto’s Google reviews laid out as social graphics, each one over a frame from the job it came from. The words are their customers’; the photograph, the type and the layout are ours. A five-star review sitting on Google reaches nobody — this is how it gets to be a post.

What it changes

06 reasons
01

You stop
running dry

The week’s posts exist before the week starts. Nothing gets shot on a phone at closing time because something has to go up.

02

Proof, not
adjectives

Anyone can write “quality work”. A before frame only exists if somebody was standing there with a camera before the job started — and that frame is the argument.

03

One shoot,
many places

A single day becomes the film, the cutdowns, the stills, the ad creative and the print. The footage keeps paying long after we have packed up.

04

It looks
like you

Your bay, your staff, your jobs. Stock footage reads as stock footage, and the people deciding whether to call you can tell.

05

The ads have
something to run

Most ad money goes on targeting and loses on creative. A campaign built from your own footage starts with something worth stopping for.

06

Nothing to
reformat

Graded, mastered vertical, captions written, sized. It goes from the folder to the feed with nothing in between.

00:02:22:15

How a cut gets made

06 steps
STEP 01

Scope

We agree the job, the angles worth having, and where the film ends up.

STEP 02

Shoot

We cover the work as it actually happens. No staging, no waiting on us.

STEP 03

Select

Every clip logged and pulled down to the takes that earn their place.

STEP 04

Beat map

The track gets marked before a single cut lands, so the edit has a spine.

STEP 05

Cut

Assembly to picture lock, with revisions built into the version you approve.

STEP 06

Deliver

Graded, mastered vertical, plus the stills — sized and ready to post.

00:02:48:03

Build a scope

pick what you need

No tiers, no bundles, no rate card. Everybody arrives needing something different — one film, a standing week of content, the whole thing rebuilt — so take the pieces that apply and leave the rest. Nothing here commits you to anything, and nothing is sent from this page.

How a quote gets built

There is no price list on this page because a price list would be wrong for most of the people reading it. A quote is worked out from four things, and you get a number for the job in front of us — not a tier you have to fit yourself into.

What we’re filming A detail bay and a restaurant kitchen are not the same day.
How many days One visit, or a standing schedule we keep coming back to.
What comes out One film, or films plus stills plus print plus the site.
Ads or not Creative only, or the creative and the campaigns run for you.
00:03:14:07

Before you ask

06 questions

Calgary and the towns around it. We come to the work rather than the other way round — the bay, the driveway, the storage lot, the kitchen, wherever the job is actually happening. There is no studio to book and nothing to bring in.

There is no rate card and there are no packages, which is why you will not find prices on this page. A quote comes out of four things: what we’re filming, how many days it takes, what you want out of it, and whether we’re running the ads too. Build a scope above, send it over, and you get a number for that scope.

Graded vertical masters at 9:16, framed vertical on the shoot rather than cropped down afterwards, plus the stills from the same day. Everything arrives sized and ready to post — no exporting, no reformatting, no second pass to make it fit somewhere.

No. Posts are handed over written — a caption per slide, four or five hashtags on each, none repeated across the set, one geo tag apiece. Open any card above and you are reading the copy exactly as it shipped.

The cut goes from assembly to picture lock with revisions built into the version you approve, so notes are part of the process rather than a change order. You see it before it is finished, not after.

Yes. Meta and TikTok campaigns built from your own footage, with the creative cut to fit each placement instead of one master squeezed into all of them. Ads, print and a website are all things you can put in a scope — or leave out of it, and just take the film.
